This is a photo taken in 1998 of the Newins Homestead in Patchogue New York. The house was build in 1851 and renovated in 1875. Upon the marraige of her youngest daughter, Luella, June 1, 1901, Mrs. Nancy Newins signed over the homestead as dowry to Frank A. Potter.
